ehh i wouldnt, you're compression should be around 10.1, too high unless your gonna run an intercooler or water injection. Anything above 6-8psi would be risky.

Tpidude. My engine was a stock L98, 64cc heads around 9.75:1 and ran sweet with an ATI p1sc intercooled. I say go for it.

True on the forged internals and cam IF you want to get into having a chip burned. Stock L98 with a ATI intercooled kit was WELL worth the 3k bux.

TPIdude, I ran an 8lb pulley with an intercooled setup. Without an intercooler I woudln't go above 5-6 psi before worrying about detonation. As far as cams I don't know, my new engines cam is custom ground for that engine and my exact setup.
My cars specs are:

P1SC w/ 14# pulley
Single intercooler
4 bolt balanced 383
Eagle 4340 stroker crank
-16cc pistons
Hbeam rods
Dart Iron Eagle 215's (72cc combustion chambers)
Harland Sharp 1.5 RR's
Custom ground Comp Cam (int lift:.520 / exh lift:.540
duration @ .050 int 236 exh 248 LSA 113
Tremek tk600
SPEC stage 3+ clutch
Alum flywheel
TPIS Bigmouth Intake
SLP siamesed runners
Holley 58mm TB
(looking at Racetronix 60# injectors)
Running tunercat and $58 code

Don't know...haven't turned it over yet (brand new). Were hoping for 710-760 at the crank with a good tune. This is the first time I've worked with the cyclone/typhoon code so it'll be interesting.
