Progressive controller
I currently have single stage NX wet system in my 88. I've used it for years with a micro switch.
I went looking for an electronic activating switch and found this from NX:
NX-FJOKWS0021 FJO Digital Progressive Controller
Does this act as an electronic activating switch as well as a progressive controller?
I will be stepping up to a direct port system to make use of a second stage as soon as I have the $ and motivation to remove the SR and tap into the plenum. Unless there is another safe way to get a 200 -300 shot without tapping into my penum.
What is involved with programming this unit?
Does "Solenoid Frequency Adjustability" mean it will pulse the solenoids? Can you puse any of the NX solenoids? I though I read once that you need special solenoids that can handle the extreme on/off of pulsing.
I think I can improve on my current set up before going direct port.

Thanks for the great input!
My current wet system has a shark nozzel before the TB.
Like I mentioned before I'm looking to add between a 200 and 300 hp. My motor was built to handle this much.
Opinions - Where would you place the direct port nozzels on a Super Ram?
Ideas - inside the pizza box plenum , Runners (not much room), Under the base (not my favorite), maybe a plate between the plenum and runners.
Currently I run a single 4AN size line (came w/ the NX kit) set up to my nozzel.
When converting to direct port will the single 4 AN sized line be sufficient?
If I upgrade to a dual stage do I need to run 2 N2O lines? What size?
My fuel for my single nozzel set up comes from the schrader valve on my injector rail. I know I'll need a designated fuel source when upgrading to a direct port set up. Do I need a separate tank or can I modify my stock tank or fuel lines (t off of stock fuel line w/ inline pump) to feed the fuel solenoids?

This is where my nozzles are.
The only problem w/ the plate is that there hasn't been one designed yet. You could cut out a plate from al. stock and drill/tap lines, or nozzles or whatever. Imagination is the key.
The flow for the -4 line is about 300hp max. So if that's all your spraying, then yes, it'll be good. Although for hard core racers, look into a -6 and a 15# bottle for consistancy.

I was thinking about a plate between the plenum and runners and have a tube/bar that distributes the gas and N2O or 2 seperate bars 1 for gas and that other for N2O?
How do the other plate systems work?
Do you make holes in the the bar evenly distributed and with an accumulated total hole size larger then largest Jets you'll use?

Yes you will need a separate fuel feed for the n2o. I would suggest a separate cell, pump, reg. just for tunning purposes and you can run race fuel which I would also recommend w/ a 300 shot.
