With that compression ratio I would be comfortable with running about 2 to 3 pounds of boost on pump gas. Is this a street car?

Car: 87 IROC
Engine: 406 sbc with Trick Flow heads, Hook
Transmission: Pro built 700R4
Axle/Gears: waiting on a new rear!!!!
Sell your heads and get some with 76 chambers that should lower your compression quite a bit. I'm also considering a turbo for my car I'm getting some 72 chamber dart heads.

I'm not saying that you can't do it, but that CR sounds a little high for boost.
