Which Nitrous Setup?
Well i plan on assisting my twin turbos with a little nitrous to further cool the incoming air so i can run a very good amount of boost...i plan on using the nitrous at three points...first two points will be shortly after the turbos on the piping running to the intercooler
so ill inject two 25 dry shots on the hot air immediately after it leaves the turbos then another 25 dry shot on the intake piping a couple of inches from the actual intake
this wouldnt be used unless an extreme case occured because i will also be running a meth/water or alky/water depending inject system right at the beginning of the intercooler to intake piping.
i need to know if there are any specific setups that are sold for this kind of idea...3 25 shot jets i guess a 10lb bottle etc.
also is there any kinda of bad reaction if i inject the nitrous really close to the alky/meth/water inject? like an explosion lol?

all you need to do is spray the fron of the intercooler. what you would be doing is overkill. the other idea is to just spray a 25-50 shot about 6 in in front of the throttle body. just tap a small hole into the intake plumbing. that would be the best idea....

So would i simply purge the nitrous into the front of the intercooler?
also how do racers apply nitrous to create zero lag and spool their turbos quicker?

Theres a kit that uses liquid co2 to cool your (cry02) intercooler heres the link http://www.designengineering.com/pro...asp?m=sc&cid=1 also you can put this inline with your throttle body its called a cryogenic bulb you run the co2 or ntrous through it and its supposed to drop as much as 40 degrees heres a pic you can also get it at that link this is much cheaper to fill than nitrous Its also good if you looking for somthing a little bit different

The cryo2 setups are great. I used one on my custom mazda turbo setup. It dropped the intake temp quite a bit. It's cheaper than running nitrous. That being said I have seen a TT 300ZX with a hobbs switch controlled nitrous setup. The nitrous was activated under full throttle and when the boost hit 10 psi the hobbs switch shut down the nitrous.
It was a great setup. Very clean. Works great due to the fact that they used the hobbs switch. It gets the turbos spooled a hell of a lot faster. Just use a standard tpi nitrous kit and jet it down .
I would recommend using a 50 or 75 shot depending on what the engine can handle and how long it takes to get your turbo's spooled. You could use a progressive controller with it as well so it would shoot a 75 shot off the line and then slowly drop it until your at full boost.
