How much to set up a turbo w/ intercooler

I would like to set up a turbo on my 87 305
running 6-8 psi
Would like some info and setups as well as a general price range
A kit set up would be nice like a list of some of your set ups
Much appreciated

Way too many options. It could cost $1,500-$10,000.

Is the only company that I I know of that makes stuff for 3rd gen f bodys... and everyone here has nothing but praises to speak of them...

Their turbo kits without intercoolers start @ $3200...

You can add ceramic coating, more money,
Need to run oil lines, tubbing, intercooler, get exhaust redone, etc...

I have seen ProChargger kits with intercoolers (all included down to the zip ties they say) starting @ $3300 too...

Many people, including myself, have built JY (junkyard) turbo systems with good success while spending $3000 or less. My system kind of migrated from the JY theme now, but it started out with two Volvo turbos (~$150 each off eBay) pumping 6psi into a totally stock L98. I also ussed two small JY intercoolers from an '89 Ford Probe GT (I found one in a local 'yard and the other on eBay). It ran consistant mid-12s in the quarter and drove like a stock IROC, getting upwards of 20mpg on trips. It wasn't the fastest car around, but it was decent for 6psi of boost in a stock L98 with 95k miles.

I now have larger turbos that won't restrict the higher RPM HP like the small Volvo units, and it should be good for lower 12's or (very) high 11's at the same boost.

The completed JY system cost me around $3500 (and a lot of time: ). The $3500 includes everything (fuel pumps, injectors, FMU, MSD units, bling things, etc). In other words, you could do something similar for a lot less if you were careful where you spend your money. You will aslo need to be resourceful and able to fabricate some items yourself if you are on a tight budget. Heres a pic of my completed JY system:

I have pics of the new combo on my website.
