Havent started motor in over two years, help....
So in the process of what ill just refer to as "life" i havent started my motor w D1 for over 2 years, it's been tucked away in a heated garage for that time, im finally getting around to working on it again, but quite frankly im afraid to start it, i plan to do this:
Empty out the gas tank, re-fill w good gas
Pull the distributer and manually pump the oiling system (after fresh oil change)
Drain and refill the cooling system
Change the fluids on the D-1
Is there anything else do you think i should do?, i just wanna try and make sure i dont blow it up......
Thanks guys.

If you are really worried about it some guys also like to pull the plugs and squirt a little lubricant into the cylinders. After a long sit this will be dry and upon cranking could shorten the life of your rings. Shouldn't be necessary though, I would just cross my fingers, fire it up, and rev it to the moon. Anyway good luck!
