Are 11's in my future?
All I want are 11's.........Until I want 10's. Im going to be putting a 2400RPM converter and a 230-240@.050 roller cam in over the winter, coupled with a 100shot of the good stuff, I think my traction situation is pretty good and I'm curios what the general concencus is about how much I can get from 100HP shot.

A 100 Shot is maybe worth 1 second in the quarter mile, so as long as u have great traction and that stall is setup good for your power range, i think high 11's are maybe a possibiltiy, if not REALLY LOW 12's..

you should be able to get in or very close to the 11's on the motor with that cam given that everything else is set up. If you are planning on sticking with the Vortec heads you might want to have them ported because after 500 lift there flow numbers fall of drastically. With the combanation that you have now and a set of after market heads like AFR's or the Trickflow 23 degree heads and a good converter you should be in the mid to low 12's on the motor. then way into the 11's on the bottle if not high 10's.
Here is a little food for thought, We have a 78 Malibu (weighs 3000 poundes) with a flattop 350, out of the box twisted wedge trickflow heads, Victor JR. intake with a Holley 650, and a hydrolic roller cam with 226/234 @.050, 4.11 geared rearend, and a TH350 with a TCI 10" converter. This car runs 11.8 on the motor on pump gas (seeing as how it is only 9.8 compression). He put a 125 shot of nitrous on it the other day and went to an 1/8 mile track (because he can not run at the 1/4 mile track anymore because he has no rollbar and runs in the 11's) and ran a 6.9 which comes out to a 10.6 - 10.7 in the 1/4. Now your car will weigh a little more than this one but you do have a bigger cam right now. That is why I say if you just put a converter in your car and a better set of heads you will be where you want to be without having to do much.
