Carbed Turbo car...Draw through VS. Blow through???
Carbed Turbo car...Draw through VS. Blow through???
I have seen cars with the carb both before and after the turbos. Both seem to work just fine, the draw through one I saw in person is even daily driven.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the advantages/disadvantages of both?

Carbed blow-through is old school. Carbed draw-through is WAY old school.
Go with a blow-through setup. Shorter, more accurate path from the carb to the combustion chamber. Better fuel distribution. We only ran carbed draw-through turbos on our Funny Bikes...

Best ET: 10.796 @ 125.8 mph
New: 1989 T/A, 406", Accel Pro-Ram, DFI, AFR heads, HRC Turbosystem, NOS 150-hp dry kit, TH400 w/GV overdrive, 9" w/3.70 gears, 8-pt. S&W rollbar, 18" wheels
