will N2O help me that much with a stock motor?

I need some good opinions here. I have an L98 GTA with 108,000 miles, and I've run a best of 14.85@93m.p.h. with a 2.0 60ft time. I really want to put NOS on my beast but I was wondering how much it will REALLY drop my time. I dont want to spend all the money on the whole setup if it wont help me that much. My motor averages 155-160lbs compression across all cylinders, and burns about a half quart of oil every 3-4,000 miles, mainly because of valve seals. It seems to be a pretty strong little mill. Also, what would be safe for my motor? 75 shot? 100 shot? Performance gains for each? But I do think ill need to rebuild the ole R4 though. But please, all the opinions and facts I can get. THX

Okay, just to let it be known, the more "stock" your engine is, the more N20 helps you. So the fact that you are stock is good in the nitrous dept. I have headers, flowmaster, and a 2k stall, and it takes off more than a second off my 1/4 time. I'm running 100 shot on my engine with 159,000 miles, it loves it....Nitrous is safe if used properly i.e. new fuel pump, new fuel filter, ect. U may wanna get those valve seals replaced though, that could turn into somthing nasty behind the bottle, and while your under there some new springs could'nt hurt....Good luck.

I have a 127K mile 305,went from 13.4 to 12.3 with a 120,and running VERY rich.
Go with a good fuel pump,i have a 255lph intank, and get an afpr, the stock Injectors will be fine.
I would recommend a WET system, because it adds fuel with the nitrous.I have seen many dry systems hurt a car, cause the injectors couldnt keep up.
