Shot in 150. Can I go to 175 plus?

I want to know if anyone has ran more than 150 shot on a stock short block L98. I can pull timing with my msd and have enough fuel, but I am not sure if I can swing it.

150 plus shot of spray on a stock short block is living on the edge. It may last a little while but not for long.

how do you know? I am not convinced with that "living on the edge statement"

I ran a 150 shot for 4 years(good amount of use) and had zero problems with it. Like I say, Go or Blow :-)

I'm using a ~175-200 shot in my stock Motor at the moment and I've only ran 3 bottles threw it at that shot..

So far so good...

I think it depends on what system you have

Dry or Wet?

I'm all the way up to 78 and my fuel is down to a 32

but the small silonids only will flow up to a 75 jet

I just didnt have a 75 ..I've heard from a local speed shop guy that they will flow a little more though

What brand of system do you have? What is your fuel pressure? What do you mean down to a 32 on fuel? Seems a little small. Thanks

It's a N.O.S. system

I running about 48 fuel pressure most of the time with vacume

yes that is what I ment by all the way down

that fuel jet is really small for that no2 jet (was having way too rich mix) ..... I suspect that my 255lph pump was too much flow for the stock jetting
