1. is anyone running twin turbos on a 3rdgen?

2. can you run twin turbos on a 3rdgen and keep the a/c?

3. how much boost can a 90k mile LG4 with a stock bottom end handle?

I would put the 3+ grand it will cost for the twins set up towards a good engine.

My buddies 170K mile IROC is was taking a 125HP shot w/o too much trouble, but the last time out it did two pretty wild NOS burps (blew every vacuum line off of the car), so he quit squeezing it. the car ran pretty hard, (12.8's-12.9's) completely stock with slicks & a fresh 700R4.

If this is a toy car (not the daily driver) I say give it a go, what is going to happen, you blow it up? then you can make a stout SB.

Why do you think it will blow up when you put a turbo on? My tta had 90K before the head gaskit broke. It didn't blow up, no mushroom cloud! It could blow up without a turbo on it.

If you build it right and drive it smart, nothing will happen to it (usually).
