used blowers,,,good idea???

Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A
Engine: 5.7 TPI in both
Transmission: W/C T-5 in both
Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both
used blowers,,,good idea???
i am really new to the idea of "getting BLOWN", so I need to find out if CLASSIFIED S/C unit are a good idea. I really don't have 3k and i am torn between heads/cam to a 13.5 end, or a blower to a 13.1 end. I know i can always blow it later, but it has been said i should put the blower on then add heads and cam. I have seen a few for 1500 and such, but you don't know what your. Your guidance is priceless. thnx THE SHAGGY IROC.

be very careful about buying a used blower have someone that knows about the type of blower you are looking at inspect it carefully.

i sold my blower used and it was only about 1 and a half years old, but i took care of it.
The main thing you should do is to try and get whatever blower you plan on buying to send it to the manufacturer to inspect it or when you get it, just rebuild it. It is only like $500 to rebuild it.

I bought my s-trim used on here about a year ago and it was in good condition and still is. I just took a chance. I sent a mo for the cost of shipping them he sent me a cod for the rest. That way I didn't have to send a lot of money and take a risk. If you want to I want to sell my s-trim and upgrade to a t-trim.
