Twin 'chargers?

Is it possible to do a twin roots superchargers enginr in the third gen bay?? I've seen one in a t-bird I think in Car Craft. It looked mean. Is there any benifit to this or is it just bragging rights and coolness. Or would it be better to just stick with the TPI setup since it produces gobs and gobs of torque anyways?

If you're goint blown, why not just get the correct size to begine with. Then you can suck those weenie T'Birds right down your intake and spurt them out the headers. An 8-71 fits nicely with the correct hood modifications and a taller driver's seat. Plan on a 12-bolt or big Dana rear end to take the force.

I saw it in a 55 or 56 Chevy once. It looked kinda retarded. I think that it is one of those things that you do when you have nothing better to do.

Buy the right ONE in the first place & call it a day.

I think this may be what you are looking for??

This is FORD stuff but nonetheless, the guy who built this is a *** of DIY work! This machine runs mid 10's.

EDIT:
Stupid geocities wont let you link pics. Anyway, check out the link to his homepage and you will find a VERY NICE twin roots blown Thunderbird.

Check out his homepage. You will flip at some of the stuff this guy has built. PLENTY of good photos too.

I was in the study & found this Mag laying around. this is the car I was talking about. It looks pretty cool, but I think that the blowers are for show only. It says that this car has twin Carbs on it, but they are nowhere to be found & it is certainly not injected. I think that this is one of those deals where the carbs are hidden in the blower boddies.
