How is everyone's projects going this summer?
Havent seen a lot of people posting things.
Well here is my progress.
I have managed a best of 11.31 @ 120.2mph. 1.57 60'. I am trying to improve on that but have had very little luck. Ran consistant 11.50's @ 117mph a week after the 11.31 in 95+ degree weather. Then found out my belt was slipping worse than I thought. Im building a brace for it right now and it should be going on tonight and then I will be back to the track in my quest for the 10's.
Anyone else chime in?
Andris? Willie? Darren? etc.

Guido,
I still haven't made it to the track yet, but i have my 500 mile breakin done on my D1sc, i'm waiting on a new belt, but if i dont have it by next tuesday(day after laborday), I'll cross my fingers and hope the belt holds up and go to test and tune on wednesday.
I hoping to see 12.99 on street tires(stock goodyears), any recommendations about tire pressure???
later

I'm working on a 100 shot of NOS, but am having nothing but trouble. I can't get this NOS dry system to boost my fuel pressure, so I have all this N2O and no extra fuel to burn. Any suggestions out there? If I can make this work it will put me in the low 12s

My original goal when I bought my car in February 1998 was to keep it a daily driver, emissions legal and run 12.99 with my 305. This is at my local track which is at 3,100 feet. The altitude correction for 12.99 is a 12.51.
Since I've already accomplished this, I decided to modify my goal to what I believed to be unattainable, an 11.99 (uncorrected). I am 1/2 second away. To attain this, I will to go the next smaller size blower pulley, which should give me an additional 0.2 - 0.3 seconds. I also have EPROM work that needs to be done. Hopefully, this will be done by November, when I hope to run an uncorrected 11.99 (corrects to 11.54) at Super Chevy when it comes to town.

Former Paxton (6-psig) with 50-hp nitrous: 12.043 @ 112.86 mph.
ATI D1SC (10-psig): 12.056 @ 116.62 mph.
All stats are altitude corrected for 3,100 feet using NHRA's Altitude Correction Table.

Well, my project is kinda stalled right now. I should finally get the exhaust tightened up this weekend and I'll do some drivability testing.
Of course, now that I'm ready to drive the car, my AFRs arrive. Figures! I don't really want the downtime now that my car is back on the road.
