Running a supercharge with edelbrock

Running a supercharge with edelbrock
Has anyone done this, i contacted the edelbrock tech gut and he said the floats would cruch, is this true, because I would only be running 6-9 psi. What else would you need to change internally for it to work?Or would Holleys be better to run under boost?
