I'm running a Paxton and was wondering which nirous kit to get.? Not sure if I should use a plate like NOS or somehting like the NX system(whick I assume I would inject in the hole at the aluminum elbow).

I haven't gone to the track yet with the Paxton but I ran a 13.6 at 103mph on my G-tech.I only got a chance to run it once though probably can get better times.

personally i wouldnt risk running NOS unless you have a really tight bottom half (H-beam rods, forged pistons steel crank) anytime your using foced induction your putting a big stain on the bottom half of the engine along with the blower and nos will probley blow the engine up and you would need about 7-8:1.1 compression for it to be safe and work propery and if that 5.7 is stock it will be a 9.5:1 compression and wouldnt be a good idea. i would put the money into other parts on the engine, with a paxton alone you should be able to get it in the 11's with some better working on the engine. but agian, if that bottom half is stock and/or has high milage i wouldnt mess with it.

I agree, unless you are going for a 20 shot "intercooler".

I would advise to getting some respectable times out of your blown 5.7. Then buy juice, blow up your engine and then rebuild it strong.
