what is the cheapest supercharger, and how much would it help my L69 305??

what is the cheapest supercharger, and how much would it help my L69 305??

i run high 15's now

what could i expect after i did the swap and also how much would the whole swap and part cost?

I don't think there are any popular kits available for a carbed engine. So if you want a centifugal blower you are going to have to get a carb bonnet and have your carb built for boost (or fully enclose it in a pressure box). Easily the cheapest way would be to use a roots style blower on top of the engine. No way this will fit under a stock hood however.

If you want centrifugal, then ATI makes kits. The cheapest and easiest would be a single carb roots blower such as Weiand, B&M or Holley make. You'll need to cut a big hole in your hood though.

yeah, roots blowers are cheap like >$2000 I think. Won't clear the stock hood, probably a 2" or more cowl is needed. Probably get you to mid-low 14s if you're running high 15s now. Try headers, new intake manifold, TUNING, exhaust first maybe a cam if you're into ripping half the engine apart. The intake manifold won't swap to a roots blower, but the headers/exhaust is always a good needed mod.

oh man i dont know if i wanan do all that lol

but yah i got a new cat-back but i still need to get headers and stuff

and since i cant get a blower for my car i will prolly just build up a 355 so i will get the new headers after i do that

For a single carb mini-blower, they're more like $1100-$1300 new and lots less used.
