I would say it would take a 150 shot. Willie is running 12 on the dot in his 305 and he is using the stock rods and crank.

Im pretty sure the factory crank is cast.An aftermarket company such as Scat, makes a good nodular 3.75 crank one piece seal.My friend building a 383 was considering this crank, the builder told him it would hold up to 700hp,as he had built alot of motors with this setup from Scat, with either nitrous or blower.Plus the crank is pretty cheap, alittle bit more than refurbishing the stock one.

I have a stock L05 short block in my car (only changed bearings) and by the looks of my MPH most would agree Im making near 475 or so HP at the crank on the bottle and its held up so far........knock on wood.

All of the speed shops i talked to said that a nodular crank can hold up to around 700HP. I would think that a 150 shot of NO2 would be fine assuming the rods and fasteners can hold up.
