Get out your swear jar, get a pocket full of quarters, perform your install, my bet is... you'll probably have enough change to pay for your new supercharger!!!

other than that it's not that bad...the instructions SUCK!!!

I'm currently working with procharger to help them fix the 3rd gen instructions. the part about the windshield washer bottle relocate is the joke. even though it says to, dont cut the fuel lines as the FMU's now have been upgraded with hoses that have fittings to plug and play. also dont cut under the front end until you have test fit the 3 core inter cooler and seen exactly where to cut. I also had to "re-clock" the blower outlet on the head unit because it was 180 off. do not take it fully apart, just losen the screws and remove only the ones that get in the way (of the gearbox and the fill/drain plugs)and place them on the other side as you slowly slide it around. make sure you do not block the drain hole with one of them. I had to trim some of the upper radiator hose (radiator end) as well as about 7/8 of an inch of the radiator outlet itself, but still the blower belt was coming in contact with the hose about six inches down the hose away from the blower pulley so i cut this section out and replaced it with a section of chrome plated brass pipe that is made as a straight extention to an under sink trap (bathroom sink s shaped thing)about six inches long. I think it was 1 1/8" o.d. and used hose clamps it looks beautiful. after and during installation, never lean your weight onto the inlet piping on the passenger side because it is so close to the fill neck vent on the radiator (the part that goes to the auxilliary/vent coolant tank that it will break it off the fill neck. Also installation (including dyno testing/tuning) is available a short drive away for around $600 at Outlaw Performance in cheyenne wyoming (a Procharger dealer [where I work]) ph# 1-877-591-8558 -Tom

Hey Tom,

Thanks for the reply, i didnt get the intercooler with my setup because the previous owner kept it for his turbo setup, i still need the intercooler, what kind of deal could you get the cooler for, i would be willing to compensate you for your efforts. Thanks again for the valuable info tom !!!!

the best thing to do in this situation is to call procharger directly, make sure you have the serial nuber off your head unit or else they might not even help you. they dont care who owned the blower originally. they will get you the right parts or upgrades and an installation manual even, then once you have confirmed all that you need by giving them your name and all, i will call them and might be able to sell you the parts cheaper than they will but i will get them from them because thier pricing system directly from them is non competetive with thier dealers so we can install them here if you wish.

maniacc is right.. The instructions suck but with a little common sense, you can get it together. Took me 5 months.. =o) Don't rush anything and make sure you know what you're doing before you get into it. The instructions do suck. Since you have a Camaro, you have a better chance at getting it right the first time.. The directions and pictures are of a camaro so you're ahead of the game already. Good luck. Oh yeah.. test fit everything before you start doing any mods and read the instructions. Some of it is actually pretty good. Good luck.

guaranteed and dynotuned we will even try to fix things like belt rub ahead of time so it wont be a problem for you later, also when I say guaranteed I mean for things within our control. i.e. not parts related failures like belts or pulleys or even larger parts but we will get you where you could not get on your own.

i dont want to pay anybody to do, that would take all the fun out of building a hot rod, besides that 600 could go torwards some heads or somthing, time and patience is all you need to do somthing right
