you might be able to get away with it depending on condition of the motor and size of the shot just make sure its safe and fuel pump is up to par

probably anywhere between 50 - 150 shot, and i would change the fuel pump into something with a little more psi

well it all depends how the internals of the motor are if theyre worn or what not. but id say you prob can get away with a 50-100 but 150 might be pushing

Miles on a motor is not as important as the general HEALTH of your motor. You should start by taking a compression check and seeing how balanced your compression is. As long as your motor is in good health you should have no problems. good luck

be sure that before you spray you should check the tune up and make sure you install one heat range colder spark plugs just to be on the safe side.

i dont know if i will spray lol i was just bull****ting around, lol but yea it needs a tune up probably, its hard to start and it wants to die, but if i give it some gas when it starts to do that it will stay running then i can leave it be...the choke might be off alittle bit.......

spray that thing for its life. I had a 78 malibu with a 74 350 in it (about 130,000 on the motor), all i did was put a set of junkyard 3.73's in it, a cheapo swapmeet spool, 70$ headers, a used victer jr manifold and summit cam along with a 200 shot and it ran a best of 11.83. If the compression check works out and a lil'bit of a tune up your 305 will learn to love the bottle. Plus people freakout when you tell them your sprayin stock motors.

150 shot on a 200,000 mile stock block here and not a lick of problems. It's an 87 TPI and it just ran it's 2 best on and off spray times tonight, 12.54 followed by an NA 13.84; I swear to you the car ran better NA times tonight after I sprayed it 2 passes. I've probably put 15 bottles through that engine, when I got it it was at 140,000. High milers are better cantidates for spray, by then everything's loosened up so you say "Spray?" I say
150 shot at the minimum and just take care of her, you'll love it.
