possibly building single turbo 355 :carb or FI??
well i was supposed to have sold on of my engine but the kid backed out.
what i have is an
77 4 bolt main block bored/honed .030 over
forged crankshaft
h-beam rods
raisedport bowtie heads 64 cc chambers,2.02/1.600 stainless manley valves
port matched vic jr manifold
holley 750 dp
need to order pistions and cam/rockers
since i have a t-76 i was going to drop on my 3.4 v6 when it was done, and im now stuck with the above parts,i figure i might as well put it all together and build a badd v8 turbo engine.
but what would be better a draw threw carb setup, blow threw setup,or just swaping out to a fi system.the problem i see with going right to fi is that the heads have raise ports,so im not to sure on what will fit as far as aftermarket fi systems.and i want to use as many parts as i already have,to try to keep the cost down.
how easy is a draw threw or blow thre carb setuo to tune? are they any good for street driving? etc

I tend to like to use what I have lying around from other projects so I am biased. With the good parts you have already I would go carbed. If it is a race car / weekend driver then I would definately put the victor jr and carb on it. It is so much cheaper and it seems like you already have the stuff.
Either mod. the carb or squirt extra fuel in boost with a N2O fuel solenoid or alky pump. Either way it is much cheaper than EFI and will give the same if not better ET. T-76?? Could it be a TV7512 with .96 A/R exhaust?
Good project. I see it in the 9's.

Well, skip draw through, unless you have a HUGE carb sitting around doing nothing and really like dealing with fuel distribution issues.
Blow through vs efi… well efi is the “right” answer since it’s tunable for most condtions, part throttle… where the carb, well you really tune it for idle and WOT and kinda try get the rest right/close enough with the accel pump, bleeds…
That being said, I would do which ever one you’re more comfortable with. Both can work, both have advantages (in case people are having problems coming up with advantages with a carb, the primary ones are adding fuel upstream has an intercooling effect, cheap and simple). I’m personally more comfortable with EFI, but if I was building a race car I would seriously consider blow through, since in addition to the other advantages most race classes allow advantages to carbed cars.
