well as far as plugs go, i'd run the autolite 103's or the ngk tr55's gaped at around .032, and retard the timing 2* for every 50 hp shot, if you plan on going more than 150 shot, id recommend upgradeding your fuel system or running a stand alone system. other than that you should be set.

I run a small 100hp NX kit that can be maxed out to 175 hp, but with the little shot I just droped my plug range down 1 and didnt even have to mess with my timing. It really works well for almost 1 sec off the quarter, and you can really feel it in the seat of the pants. You cant go wrong with the bottle unless you try to get to crazy, but with the set up you have you could use the 175 shot just use the MFG suggestions and you should be o.k.

What fuel pump are you running? With a forged bottom end you can get away with alot. Drop the Tstat to a 160 degree and get a switch to manually turn on your fans. I'm running a 200 shot on a high milleage stock tuned port engine through a plate and it's given me 0 problems to date. If I were you I'de be looking into a direct port setup, or a twin stage. If I had forged guts on my motor it would have 2 175 shots already, if I get another engine built it may just get 2 150 shots on the stock parts. NOS's 5151 kit will flow up to a 200 shot btw, not sure about NX's or the other kits, I've seen TNW's spray bar plate and I wasn't impressed in the least bit. The tech at NOS told me there plate would handle a 250 shot but the solenoid wouldn't flow that much. I'm not exactly sure how you're wanting to set up or how much spray you're wanting but there's alot of tidbits of information that'll hopefully help you out. PS you don't need to change your chip, just turn the distributor and take out the timing or get a timing controller.

You should be fine for a 200 shot then. I'de look for a direct port if I were you, but you could go for a plate system. I haven't found a plate kit that beats the good old NOS 5151 kit.

with the stock tpi unit, the direct port is pretty nice, and if you get the sportsman fogger it will only run you 650 for the base kit, but probably well over 1000 once you get the rest of the stuff needed, i have a nos 5151 kit with purge for $400+ shipping if interested

For a 200 shot NGK TR6's at .035, for anything higher go with the BR7's at the same or .030 gap. If you don't run NGK run 1 or 2 heat ranges colder AC Delco's. These 2 plugs seem to be the top of the class for our cars. Other options would be Autolites, or Denso's but they have less of a following than the NGK's and the Delco's.
anyone using autolites?? which ones??
