Quad Turbo

It's been quite some time since I dont post, well here is the latest; The Quad Turbo GTA project is almost done! Still needs piping, intercoolers, programing the E6GM Haltech(any help withe E6GM will be greatly appreciated, anyone with maps?), finishing the roll cage, front radiator air ducting, installing custom headlights, painting.....

The GTA had some surgery as you will see in the pics, chopped front end and reinforced, new custom lightweight fiberglass hood with two huge reverse scoops, new one piece lightweight fiberglass front end, lightweight fiberglass rear deck panel, lightweight fiberglass custom console with gauges, custom subframe conectors from the rear suspension all the way to the front shock towers (it greatly stiffened the chassis, now doors open and close neatly, even when the car is on jacks!).

Well I dont have enough time to write everything but here it is for you to enjoy.

Happy New Year!!!

I wasnt hoping that they were in business. I was hoping that they were either out-of-business or they stopped making the turbo kit. If they were out-of-business or they dont make the kit, then COOL!

Fabulous work, BBS!
Why go with four turbos (except for the coolness factor)? I just wached a video yesterday of a small block twin turbo with 13psi making 1100hp on pump gas and with the 109 octane and more boost making over 1500hp. Is there some kind of advantage you are looking for?

I see you cleared the brake booster on that one. I wasn't so lucky.

That setup looks like fun.

So, does each turbo have two exhaust ports?

$12k Buy it now? Umm, ouch.

I'd be wary of this...
"The oil is pumped from the back of the engine (near the distributor)..."
I'm not the only one who got a rod knock from doing it this way. 4 turbos to feed instead of two would be even worse.

Where are you going to get the oil from then? I ought to have my turbo manifolds finished up this week. Finally working on them and i'll get to the plumbing relatively soon.

I think he had other issues. I'm getting oil from the block also and have excellent oil pressure.

T-off from the new style pressure sender port above the oil filter, that'll be after the mains and rods are already fed to my knowledge. Several have done it this way without problems. Another has taken it from a port above the timing cover, but I can't find one on mine, heh. His was an older block.

I think he had other issues. I'm getting oil from the block also and have excellent oil pressure.
The other issues are totally unrelated, and nothing else would have caused it.
I also have excellent oil pressure at the gauge. It's not how much gauge pressure you have, it's where that pressure is going (or not, in this case). I recommend against it because I read about 3 other people who had main galley oil starvation issues from taking the oil from the old-style pressure port.
