loss of power/backfire mid to high rpms : turbo

ok guys another problem has reared its ugly head again, and this time im stumped .

first off im back down to 10 psi since this is a stock engine,so i swaped out the 8-1 fmu for a 4-1,and am down to 19# injectors, with the stock tune.

heres whats going on

1st gear pulls right up and threw 12.5afr
2nd gear pulls to about 4,500 and then its liek somone is slamming on the brakes ,the whole car just noses over.if i keep my foot in it it wll start to back fire.
even going wot in 3rdgear results in the same thing.
its not a lean condition as the motor holds a max of 12.7afr and dips down as low as 11.5 afr.
i pulled the plugs and there not showing any signs of detonation , i highly doubt its spark blowout cause ive run over 18psi with the setup.
teh only thing i did notice is my boost guage does bounce rapidly from 9-12psi before it loses power and starts to backfire.

any ideas ?

possible valve float?

Possibly a bad ground. That is the first thing I would check. As ignition load goes up so does the strain on the ground paths. Since you had it apart, I would check that the distributor has a electrically clean hold-down and bolt. Check that the engine to frame to battery ground is clean.

Valve float? maybe? I run my worn-out junk valve springs to 6000 rpm with a cam speced for valve float at 5600 rpm. You can actually hear the valves making all kinds of noise. It doesn't fall flat though. With the spark blow out I had it fell flat. Yeah, I shouldn't be revving it that high. I need to install gears.

its not a ground issue, i even dbled up on the batt to body and batt to engine block grounds.still no change.
but im gonna assume the worst cause i can smell oil when the car is idling, except the car isnt smoking.(havent done a leak down or compression test just yet)
my new motor isnt finished just yet so im prolly gonan drop in the 3 psi wastegate spring and hope for the best for the time being.
kinda sux i wanted to get a chance to test out this new 4k converter i just purchased before i droped in the new engine

they are all good, i going to convert a smog pump to a crankcase evac pump and see if it helps, since i have no active method of crankcase evacunder boost at this time im thinking i have a bit of exxessive blow by under boost and its causing the rings to unseat. if that dosent help im gonna close the plug gap a tiny bit and see if that does anything. if not im completely stumped.and ill have to be very carefull till i get ready to drop the 3.3L motor in the car
