Twin Turbo Help!!!!!

As some of you know im working on a twin turbo 350 witha turbo 400 trans. my question is does anyone know a good stall converter that can handle 600-700hp or even a blown application i went with a b&m 2500 stall converter and when i got home from summit (which is down the street) the torkmaster that i got says on the side of the box not for use with blown applications. I want one that is a 2500 stall any ideas?

Re: Twin Turbo Help!!!!!

Boost apps. are a pain to get an off-the-shelf low stall converter. They design them weak and cheap for low stall because they usually go on low HP engines. Boost changes everything. I called TCI about a converter like that and they said they could only do a custom for about $1000. Most turbo converter builders get $500 to $1000 or more. You might try looking into roundy-round racing converters for something off-the-shelf. They are low stall and built for more HP.

Most people at turbomustangs have a custom built from a good shop (not TCI, not B&M, etc).

Re: Twin Turbo Help!!!!!

mine is from Art Carr a custom converter w/anti-balloon plates.. it wasnt custom built for this engine but my previous 505 and designed for nitrous.. I would think any convertor w/anti-balloon plates would do just fine for you.

Take a good look at what they use for a stator too.
