I was doing a search on Ebay and noticed china turbo parts are becoming less frequent. SSAC is not registered on the USA ebay from what I could see. Overall, china turbo parts on ebay are less than what they were a year ago. Any one have any theories on why the parts went away?

BTW, any one know where you can get the 50MM wastegates that ebay used to have for $40-$50?

Nice assumption (the one that would come to mind first by most people), but I think it goes beyond that. A lot of the china sellers are not offering the amount of products they once did. It could have something to do with the USA patent law pressure.

Mine is an XSPower, but I see what you mean about the number of parts. I know daves12secv6 has found an export company that will sell you this stuff wholesale, but there is a minimum to buy.

yep i found the same turbos from a export place just for ***** and giggles i emailed them and got a reply
for the t3/t4 50 trims u had to order 10 @ 80$'s each + the costs of shipping and ****
ill have to did threw my inbox and see if i can find the whole thing to post

 

Maybe somebody would organize a group purchase? For $80-$100 each, I could have twins on my car right now, lol.

they come from diff comapnys overseas,depending which ones u order the could come from japan/china, austrailia among other places

btw u can get all the ebay wastegates and stuff threw the same export company for dirt cheap.i browsed threw most of the products and theres tons apon tons of diff model turbos/wastegates/bovs etc to choose from,lots more then they sold on ebay,looks like the ebay sellers stuck with the smaller turbos,
but i was able to find turbos as big as 100mm and as small as lil mitsu turbos

 

That Ebay 60mm wastegate will probably end up going for more than $100 w/o shipping. I don't know why people bid them up that much. They aren't worth $100-$120. I think the direct buy SSAC WG is less than $100 for the 60mm unit. I wanted a 50mm unit but it doesn't look like the diaphragm is widely available. In the end, I will either make my own of get one from SSAC. Ebay & Paypal is/was great in terms of sellers like SSAC. I don't really want to give SSAC a credit card number and at the same time they say you can just paypal them with the name of the part you want. But their part numbers are half-a and they sell the same thing is a different add with a different part number.

The T3/T4 50 trims would be a good deal for people that wanted to do a group buy. The person doing the group buy could/should get money for doing it. The units would still be plenty cheap enough. Like Dave said, there is a lot of overseas turbos than the ones SSAC and Ebay sellers list.

Yup, it ended up at $117 shipped. That's crazy. SSAC sells the 60mm units for $90 w/o shipping and it comes with two extra springs for different pressure opening points.

EDIT: I like how SSAC says the 60mm WGs are good for 1000+ HP and then show them installed on 4 or 6 cyl. engines with turbos big enough for about 300 - 500 HP. Maybe it is done to make the WG appear bigger compared to the engine it is on. Silly.

 

Search for Turbos here or anything you would like to buy in bulk for that matter.
