355ci Turbo?
355ci Turbo?
Hey guys the motor is going in a 91 camaro. The motor has all forged internals with a mild cam and large cast heads. Im looking for a turbo kit or to build my own but i was looking to see what you guys thought i should do. I cant seem to find a resonable kit but i dont want to spend a huge wad on it either. Any suggestions would be fine. Thanks

Re: 355ci Turbo?
I will take a look through the 355ci "forged internal" turbo kit catalog and send you a list of the "reasonable" non-huge-wad ones.

What is reasonable to you? The cheapest way would be to build it yourself.

Re: 355ci Turbo?
I am currently trying to put together a group of intrested buyers to purchase a premade kit from HP Performance. For those of you familiar with thier kits they are top of the line quality and huge performers. Their website is www.turbochargedpower.com and you can see that all of thier parts are jet hot coated and the kits come complete. The price range is going to vary on the number of buyers I can honestly get to commit. The starting price of a custom single kit would be around $6000. It can only go up based on parts needed and labor. Once the commitment is real then the kit can be a go. I know this kind of belongs on another thread but thought i might menton it early. I figure most guys who live farther north woudl like to wait so they can enjoy thier cars over the summer and wait until fall or winter.
