Re: my car project
por15 inside? where exactly inside did you paint it?
curious why you're running a belt drive instead of a timing chain.
everything else looks good though. should be a good build. how much power are you looking for with 20#?

Re: my car project
You have enough injector for 1800 FWHP using gas. Your dual pumps are good for around the 1000 FWHP mark. The only way to get the Ford 150# injectors to work is using SEFI which I am guessing the Big 3 unit handles. Even with SEFI, 150# is on the extremely large side especially with the meth. inj. setup.
I like to oversize injectors in most situations, but your situation is extreme overkill unless you are running E85 or straight Ethanol. You may want to look at what else is out there if you intend to drive this on the street. I also don't see those parts handling 1800 FWHP or ever getting close to it.
Overall, it sounds like a nice setup. Is that TH350 going to handle the max. HP that setup could produce? Figuring around 1200 FWHP. I think the trans. and injectors are usable, but also questionable.
Are you using 1/2" hard tube alum. or steel line? Or just going with some -8AN S/S hose?

Re: my car project
Sounds like a mean setup. The only thing I'd ask about is the cam. 112 deg. lobes at that duration would be quite a bit of overlap, wouldn't it? You don't want alot of overlap with turbo's unless you can hit that magical 1:1 ratio, exhaust backpressure / boost. If you do that I guess it doesn't matter.

Re: my car project
the por 15 is painted in the valley and the main webbing. the bs3 will adjust every injector so it will still be streetable i have a msd crank trigger and a cam sync dizzy the meth is just what i had from before this build. the cam was custom ground by lunati last year i talked to alot of cam people and they was the only ones that new anything. the timing belt dosent run it oil less windage it takes less friction to turn it and it takes the harmonics out of the valve train.
hear is a link to the bs3 http://www.bigstuff3.com/

Re: my car project
I am a stickler about fuel modes with injectors. With SEFI and the 150's it is getting close to the min. PW. I am guessing that the 150's are P&H so it should just make it with SEFI.
Nice setup. I like it. It pretty much has it all. The only thing missing is coil on plug. How high do you plan on revving it to?

Re: my car project
I would consider coil on plug for anything above 6500 RPM. Not that you must have it, but it is worth a look. At 6000 RPM you only have 2.5ms to charge the coil. If it was me and shifting at 8500 RPM I would do a coil on plug setup or at least wasted spark.

Re: my car project
i dont have any pics of the engine bay with the motor in it i have had it turboed for about 5years and never got a pic of it. my headers are pace setters that i modified and had nickel plated. the nology wires are alot better then most wires they have a capaciter in each wire and produce more spark. i would love coil on plug but ran out of money fast. hope to have it together and running in the next few weeks.
