I started up my iroc yesterday for a drive and I noticed it was ticking. Its clearly coming from the valve cover. Checked my header bolts they are tight. So I pull it out and drive down the road and floor it and the car has a hard time building boost and you can hear the ticking. So I have a flat tappet cam with 1.6 RRs. You guys think I just need to adjust the valves? I hope I did't wipe out the cam. I will pull the valve cover tonight and adjust them. I checked the turbos they are fine.

Car is a 355 stock bottom end with a $50 flat tappet cam from summit with AFR heads and twin turbos.

 

I fianaly got a chance to pull the valve cover and the one Roller rocker was about 3 threads from the nut falling off. Needless to say that valve was not opening at all.
