I seen that camaro go high 8's i think it has a vortech supercharger and two
stages of nos and a mini ram intake i don't know what size engine,the track
is in sacramento,ca the car is from unlimited racing team.

 

As a viper fan, I know plenty of vipers that could tear that thirdgen a new one, and that is in full trim and a/c blowing cold

funny. if i wasnt posting from my phone you would get a treat to the fastest six speed street viper runs in the 7.8 i believe. slower i know but this car could drive cross country with ac on and still enjoy the leather seats.

 

Funny? No. As I already pointed out, Rick Head's Camaro ran a best of 7.66, which is much faster than this Viper's 7.8, not to mention, Rick accomplished this on DRAG RADIALS. Was this Viper running a similar tire, or a full slick? In reference to A/C, I believe it was personal preference in which Rick decided to scrap it....

ricks car was nice(he sold it awhile ago) but far from something he would drive on the STREET.

I know this isnt in the 7's or even 8's but it is a 110% driven STREET CAR running 9.3's at 150+ MPH the mpd dictates an 8.8's car.

^ Yeah, he sold the car back in July/August of 2006. Think he got close to 65 grand for it too. I don't think Rick would have been crazy enough to have driven it everyday as a daily driver, but he has been known to take it out every once and awhile on the street, putting people in a state of awe....

Antoine mentioned the blown White Camaro being from Unlimited Racing Team, although, it doesn't have a Vortech Supercharger w/NOS, I'm pretty sure it's running a turbo charger, w/out NOS....

If I remember right, that video is a couple years old. The white Iroc is from Unlimited Racing. He's cncbowtie on their website. Motor then was 406 with blower and NOS and he was known to do 8's back then. Their car club and my old car had a lil bit of a friendly rivalry going on back in the late 80's.

rick is no longer the owner of that camaro, a guy i know in south florida bought the car. it still has the same combo engine wise but has 2 88mm turbos. a month ago testing the car it went 7.4x and blew the head gaskets.

 

I think they still have the white camaro
