Strange. Maybe the lifters were collapsing? When and what track do you plan on going to? I'm hoping to get mine up for the first time this weekend to Maple.

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!
I'm honestly thinking that it wasn't the size of the other cam per se, but how the other cam was installed by the engine builder; it might have been installed retarded, and/or advanced, having an effect on desired timing (with the tuner assuming it was installed straight up). In any event, I'm glad you got it all fixed, now get us some video of it as soon as you can.
I will post some videos when it is all done

I will go to maple for sure, I also plan on going to island. The only thing stopping me right now is the 9 bolt, I have to upgrade my rear.
I wish I was going to the track this weekend I'm hoping to at least take the car home Saturday.
What kind of ets are you shooting for?

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!
Thats why I like the Boost Timing Master combined with a knock gauge, you can always run on the edge, where you make the most power.
Ets? Depends on how much boost I run. I should be able to hook well, and I'll probably run around 8psi on top of my 475hp motor. I'm hoping to hit low-mid 10s. When I max out the blower, probably 12psi, and add the alky injection, I should be mid 9's. Car's not legal for that though......
9 bolt? Just dont run good tires, it'll be ok. Especially with the 3.45 gears. You'll at least get a good mph. BTW, I built my Ford 9 for 1200 bucks. !!

Do you have any pics?
Would you want to built another 9in? haha
Thats awesome I would be very happy to run in the 10's with a long term goal to run in the 9's What do you think is a realistic et for my set up with a 9in and 3.27's and mt's

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!
I'll take some pics today when I'm trying to get it ready for the track.
I just bought a moser bolt in housing for 1000 bucks, came with moser axles. Bought a center section off ebay for 250 bucks shipped, included the gears, spool, all assembled. They are usually around 450. He worded it funny so it didnt get many looks. It was my first one, and I did it myself, so if you have any q's just ask.
Right now without traction you should be mid-low 11s and a mph of 134. If you got traction (ford 9"), you should see low 10s with the power the car makes now. Once you get that thing tuned in and timing good, some race gas, you should see high 9s at the same boost level. !!!
I screwed up when I bought my center section, I got it with 4.11 gears, before I understood what rpms I'd be crossing the line at. My motor probably stops making power around 6200-6500, if I run max boost, I'd be crossing the line around 7200. A bit high. So I'll have to keep the boost down for now until I get new gears, and get the car legal for 9.99.
Yee haa

I bet you'd see a _nice_ increase with a better A/F...even on the safe side of high 11-low 12.

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!
Geez, you kinda got screwed on those axles.
Well, I was trying to change gears cheap, and got screwed with different size carrier bearings, so had to press off almost new bearings and press on new ones.
And the jegster tq arm with a ford 9" is a pita to change the center section. I'm hoping to finish it up today/tonight, register the car tomorrow, and head to Maple.

Hey guys,
would any one possibly be interested in buying my twin turbo setup? Im thinking of parting out the car or selling it complete, The whole setup only has around 1500 miles on it and best dyno was 656rwhp at 19lbs of boost and 570tq on a mustang dyno. I'm kicking around going a different route. let me know thanks, John

I know you were running Hydraulic Lifters at first, then you switched cam, did you upgrade to a Solid Roller or did you stay Hydraulic?
If its a Solid roller then yes I am interested, if its Hydraulic then I will pass.
