Re: check out my new power adder!!!!

I just started it up for the first time yesterday. It runs really rough with #60 injectors and a stock ecm. I am thinking of using bigstuff 3 or mega squirt.
thanks for the compliments guys

I needed fabricated valve covers then they had to be modified to clear the turbos whew! tpis mini ram, comp custom ground cam for forced induction, gale banks 800 horse power twin turbo kit ect ect

The drivers side of the hood has to be modified but it does close nicely. I am thinking of going with a 3 inch cowl in the future.

Do you just have to take some of the bracing out or do you have to cut a hole in the hood??

make sure you dont have the lightweight aluminim driveshaft (i actually torqued one, twisted about 5 times around and snapped another one, not to mention 7 or 8 sets of u-joints) i switched to the more rigid steel driveshaft from an 86 transam and havent had any other problems, other than blowing my rearend to pieces once but yes as long as ur drivetrain can take it, that looks amazing, hope it lives up to the hype its getting here

I am getting the bigg stuff 3 and an aeromotive fuel system, then the car is going to psi motorsports in Tripoli PA to be tuned. I am just a little worried about all the heat this thing throws off and if it will hold together since its not a dart block or anything.

the LS1 drive shafts are exacly what not to use, they're weaker then the 1LE aluminum driveshafts, all the steel ones or any aftermarket one.

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!

Yea thats pricey stuff. I think I will go with a carb. Im very happy with the Mighty Demon I have now. Runs so much smoother than with the self modified holley I had on my 305. I was looking at stuff and even with a cheap fuel injection computer system and the stealth ram it would cost over 2k dollars. But tuning without opening the hood would be real nice. A real good carb is about 800 bucks. Hmmmmm, I wonder if they've gotten the blow through E85 worked out yet........

Whoa, your pretty close to Maple Grove, Im down towards Lancaster. Got a buddy moving to Quakertown fom Massachusetts. All my racing buddies have mustangs........

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!

That's what I like to see. looking good man. I'm especially happy to see that you didn't try to use one of those ebay turbo kits (key word: try). Gotta get some screens or some filters on there though. Just don't ask me why I'm concerned about it.

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!

oof, I didnt realize you had a stock rear too. Im not even going to take it until I get a 12 bolt in, I dont think. I also need to find a trailer. Like to get a new truck too, the s10 crew cab tows kinda crappy. But that can wait. If I dont have the cash in hand for a rear by april, its going on the card. lol.

I will not launch the car out of fear of a grenade sound...lol I found a 9 inch for a third gen but I want a 12blt or 9in for a fourth gen so that I dont have to run wheel spacers with my z06 wheels. The after market rears are all expensive though. I need a truck and trailer also I like the new chevy silverados there nice, just a bit pricey... The camaro will be going on the rollback on its way to psi 3 hours from now yay haha

Re: check out my new power adder!!!!

looks pretty sweet. Those turbos have some large inlet stacks.

I'd go 12-bolt or S60 before 9" personally. Why loose the extra power, even if you can't put it to the ground?
