should be able to take a 100-125 shot no problem. hell the stock cast stuff can take that. Just make sure your tune and setup is good, and you have all the safety wquipment

Re: IS IT STRONG ENOUGH!!!!
since you posted about how strong will the cast stuff hold up.
i dont have to post another one
how much power can a 383 rotating assemly hold? with steel cast crank with forged rods? i found a kit for not to bad of price. im just wonder how much power will the crankshaft hold up to? im going for 500hp for my 383.

if the tune is spot on, stock stuff can hold up quite well. I know of a few cars that have 500hp on the stock stuff, the crank and rods are what get abused the hardest in nitrous applications. The cast steel crank and forged rods should support 500hp no problem. I've seen 750whp out of a stock shortblock, junk heads, tpi and twin turbos without failure, so you'll be just fine.

Re: IS IT STRONG ENOUGH!!!!
I used a scat 9000 seires cast steel crank and manley rods with good JE pistons. In my car I used a 275hp shot on it never had a proublem I even had a 2 bolt main. Car went 9.70s and would have gone 60s if I didnt hit the rev limiter. I have also put 2 bolt 350 together for a friend he worked at autozone he bought one of there recond stock cranks some eagle sir rods and trw forged pistons. his car ran 10.30s on a 200 shot. Out of all the motors I have put together the only thing that seems to break are pistons.
