175 HP jet size

Anyone know what size jets to use for a 175 HP shot? This will be used on the TPI 5151 kit (wet). Thanks.

I'm using 73n-41f, but I have the walbro pump with hot wire kit. You'll have to tune the fuel side to taste.

N2O Jet/Fuel Jet 73/82

I was told this was the size. IS this accurate?

Re: 175 HP jet size

TPI = 43psi fuel pressure, carb jetting = 7psi; 78/82 is a 200 shot, will be pig rich, and will probably blow up. 73/44 would be good and safe if you have a nice Walbro fuel pump.

Re: 175 HP jet size

Would the fuel pump be a necessity seeing as how the extra fuel is added right into the TB?

Re: 175 HP jet size

You really need a bigger fuel pump in the tank on these cars if you're planning to spray. The one that came factory just can't keep up with the motor and 175 additional horsepower. Also the pumps are usually old and worn out so it's best to just do it right the first time and upgrade to the Walbro 255lph pump. If you really don't want to go pulling the tank and such you can put a Walbro inline pump inline.
