4 SC 350, GM Aluminum or Aftermarket Heads?

I have a 305 TPI, which is plenty fun... but I have a procharger & I figure I should start building my 350 instead of wasting $$$ to install on the 305, etc...

Should I get corvette aluminum heads or aftermarket?

I know good aftermarket ones are probably close to $1500...
& I'm nut sure how much $$$ it would cost to get the corvette ones worked over... being the engine will be blown... I have a big mouth tpi base, AS&M runners & ported plenum too...I dunno?

Any advice would be appreciated...

Re: 4 SC 350, GM Aluminum or Aftermarket Heads?

well I just got stuck going with some afr heads because I need large chambers to lower the comperssion for a turbo. I was running the vette heads with fast burn valves in them the 2.00 1.56 light weight stuff. They also have comp springs good to 600 lift and titanium retainers. They were ported to the max and on my combo have gone a best of 118 mph. Look at my sig to see my car. I am selling them and they are way cheaper than the 1500 buck I just spent on my afr heads. they are proven too so no guessing if they will go fast. Fresh valves and valve job. Did it all last year and might have 5 or 6 k on them since the rebuild and all springs were checked too. I would say they are better than a cheap proform or patriot head that run 800 bucks and you get crappy valves and springs on them. Let me know if intrested and I will come up with a price on them. I would have never taken them off if I didnt have to lower the compression of the motor. I have a ton of work and money in them to give them up but had no choice.
