Re: Roots style supercharger
Theres a few. Just be careful using one that's built for dry flow in a wet flow application or vice versa. A dry flow blower will not usually tolerate wet flow becuase the bearing seals aren't built for it. The other way around (a wet flow blower used only to move air) I'm not sure about- might be OK, might not. Just suggesting that you do some checking if you intend to you use a blower in an application it's not designed for.

Magnacharger makes a kit with injectors and everything for about $$6500 I think? For either vortec or standard 23* heads..

No problem there, just a simple LS1, yours should be faster even now..
Especially with new suspension etc..

This is my roots injected blower, but I do not think it is what you are talking about.

Re: Roots style supercharger
Actually my setup is probably one of my favorite engine out of 4 hot rods I have. It is a 383 with that on top of it. It was easy to tune, and it revs and accelerates like a bunch of made hornets. It is not my fastest car but it is the most fun. It has loads of torque and sc whine under power sounds absolutely great. I think the fuel cooling fight the detonation very well, as I have never had any real problems, even on the hottest of days.
