I want to get some more accurate and reliable info. I want to know what you guys think I could run for boost. I have a one piece rear main 2 bolt block with ARP studs, bored .030 over, a forged ZZ4 crank uncut, GM powder metal rods stock bolts, flat top speed pro forged pistons, ported and polished ZZ4 (alum. vette) heads. The cam is .510 lift intake, .520 lift exh, duration is 230 int and 236 exh, lobe seperation is 114. It is topped off with a holley stealth ram. I have plenty of supporting mods such as ignition and fuel. I run a Gen 7 with a wideband. I have a snow performance meth kit and I currently run 7 psi without an intercooler. I am making the change over to E85 so that should help. I am addicted now and I would like to go bigger. What do you guys think?

I'd first be curious what your current static compression ratio is.

With the small 58cc chambers on the heads I am around 10:1.

10:1 on pump gas, might be pushing it. I'm not sure how much running meth will help, but certainly it does. I know of a few people running what I considered in the past way too much boost pressure and timing that are running meth/alky kits so 12psi might work. Now... throwing e85 in there, that changes the game. I'm not knowledgeable enough about that stuff unfortunately but it will allow and really should use higher compression NA so I dont see why that wouldnt apply with some excess pressure as well.

Madmax thanks for your input. I think I will shoot for 10psi this summer and see how it goes.
