A few have recommended NGK TR6 plugs for use on blown applications. This may be a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyway.

If I'm not mistaken, I need a tapered seat, 14mm thread, 3/4" reach plug. As I shop around, I see different reach plugs...like a .460 or a .750 and a .708 - which am I supposed to get?? They claim to all be for Chevy V8's....

Here's the spec on the NGK's:

NGK Spark Plugs #739-TR6

# V-Power Resistor Spark Plug14mm x .708" Reach
# 5/8" Hex
# Projected
# Tapered seat

The .708 reach is throwing me off. Are these the right ones??

 

youll have to find your head manufacturers specs for spark plugs to run in them.

 

Ahhh...I thought it was simple. Just looked it up, and I should have .460 reach plugs, which means I have the wrong ones in it now.

Looks like I'm going with the UR-5's....
