Modifying wet nitrous kit to dry?
Is it possible to remove the nitrous hose on the bracket and lengthen and spray a dry shot into my blower? I guess thats not really a "dry" shot, but you know what I mean.
Wet kits are cheap, and I can't find any decently priced dry kits. Only shooting a 50-100 shot. Probably just 50 though.

How are you compensating for the extra shot then? With a dry shot you need to dump the extra fuel somehow.

Sure you can. Some blower manufacturers don't like you to spray pre-blower, but it's possible. The blower becomes more efficient with the increase in air density. Just make sure your AFR stays where you want it.

I know nothing about a n20 system though, and I don't know how hard it would be to hook up a nitrous jet to a custom line.

I would leave the fuel side of the bracket on, just remove the nitrous side and relocate it. Spray the fuel under the carb, spray the nitrous into the blower.

All you need is a plain N2O nozzle to go on the end of your line. The jet will fit between the nozzle and line. Your line will just need the correct size adapter for the nozzle if needed.

Using the spray-bar (plate system) for fuel without the nitrous flow is a no-go, if that's what you're planning to use. It will just shoot streams of liquid fuel into your manifold and it will become very unhappy with that.
All you need is a plain N2O nozzle to go on the end of your line. The jet will fit between the nozzle and line. Your line will just need the correct size adapter for the nozzle if needed.

So if I wanted to spray a shot into my blower, I'd have to buy a specific system?

A small 50 - 100 hp shot of N2O does't require a tremendous amount of extra fuel. Once you have your carb converted for E85 take a look at where your AFR is. It might be enough to cover it.
You'll be looking for AFRs between 6.5:1 and 8.5:1 @WOT.
If you're on the richer end of that or around 6.0:1 it will probably cover the 50 shot.
Here's a link with some E85 info.
