Step one for 89 GTA l98 Twin Turbo build up

This one is probably asked a lot, but I'm new to this...

I'm planning on building a T3/T4 hybrid twin turbo 89 GTA. It's a stock L98 now and it has a possible valve problem. I'm thinking this summer I'll be replacing the heads/cam. I want a completely street legal, emissions compliant vehicle that will be a killer daily driver and a weekend drag racer in the street legal category. It will be a long-term project, but plan on going all out in the long run.

I know I want a lower compression ratio and a longer duration to take advantage of the boost. What heads/cam and/or possible intake are recommended for this type of setup? Or where do I start? Thanks in advance for your help!

manifolds are gonna be the hardest thing to make. I'm in the middle of doing my own twin turbo setup using T4 turbos and its a challenge, but very possible

The questions you need to ask yourself is how much money you got to spend, how much power do you want to make or what your performance goals are (either hp numbers or track times you want to run), and how much time you will have to do this?

Figure out your goals and then we can go from there on turbo selection, design of the system, cam/heads/intake systems, and ways to tune it

Planning on spending 10k+ over about two years. Would like to build up block and heads, etc, then finish off with the turbos. Would like to maintain usage throughout (except for the engine work, of course) 700-750hp sounds good.

for that amount, u should look into building a sbc heads motor. go with some good edelbrock heads, efi victor, 90 degree elbow and 90mm tb.
for your induction. build up your bottom end to handle some psi, and go with large single t4 turbo instead, a turbonetics t76 will easily support around 800bhp

Would this build up support a Nitrous kit as well?

why run a nitrous kit? let the boost make the power. spend the money for a quality motor with good heads/cam and good turbos/turbo

Sounds good. Should I do a 383 stroker when I redo the bottom end for more power?
