Blow off valve issues?

Im runnin a 305 tpi with mods and a paxton supercharger, i have a ssq blow valve but it never blows off when you let off the throttle its not seeing vacumn has anyone had this problem or know how to fix the issue. At idle i barley see any vacumn cause of the charger.I have tried a turbo style valve had the same issue i was told go with the ssq valve caue its supposed to open when it sees any fluxuation but still no good.

Re: Blow off valve issues?

Did you hook the blow off valve vacuum port to a location on your intake with a good vacuum signal? Anywhere on the intake after the throttle body should work. I know on my tial blow off valve I had to put a different spring in it to get it to work properly. If it is hooked up properly I'd look into putting a softer spring in it.

Re: Blow off valve issues?

I have the vac line hooked up to the throttle body vac source i thought that was ok but ill try a diff spot. My blow off valve is a sequential supposively no spring just an internal diapram and is supposed to open with any fluxation of the throttle but its not. I have tried turbo blow offs and put a lighter spring still nothing its just not seeing vac

Re: Blow off valve issues?

Re: Blow off valve issues?

well the valve is new just installed it so it should be good, gonna try putting a vacuum gauge on the vac line for the valve and see what it reads tomorrow.
