Is this a problem?

Well the more parts I change on my car the more trouble it causes me. I'm trying to finish up my B&M 144 install, so I ordered their thermostat housing for my CTS and needed a flexible upper hose. Well after I installed it all, it looks like its going to trap air. The top of the upper hose is 6" above the radiator fill. Has anyone else dealt with this? How bad does this affect the cooling system?

Nothing to worry about. Mines about that high above aswell. Pop your hood and start the car till it warms up and the thermostat opens up and keep topping your fluid up until it takes it all. Any left over air will find its way to the over flow as the cooling system should be an air tight unit.
