racing chip?
I have a semi stock 86 unibody trans am, the computer is stock but has any one added racing chips before? I was looking on autozone's website and came across some chips under performance about 120.00-160.00 would it be worth it or is their a lot of tuning to go with?

Re: racing chip?
For FBody's They are mostly a gimmick, much like the electric superchargers on ebay. You can expect to see a HP increase of maybe 5, not worth the money and they will be useless if you do any other major performance upgrade since they are designed for stock engines.
Sometimes on other engines they raise the rev limiter, which can make a dramatic affect on performance, but since our engines are not RPM limited (in the sense that the rev limiter is affecting the powerband) there is no improvement to be had.
