Re: nitrous hook up
You mean a button you can push by hand? I don't recommend it, you only want to be on the bottle at WOT, running the micro switch is a good way guarantee that is the only time you are spraying.

Re: nitrous hook up
I agree. Having it on a button can get you into trouble. If you hit the button under 3000 rpms it will catch fire under the intake and potentially explode. I have whitnessed this twice from guys running buttons.

Re: nitrous hook up
I don't know about it catching fire, I have my window switch set at 2500 and haven't had that problem. I just know that bad things like detonation can occur engaging it before WOT.

Re: nitrous hook up
Run Both, the Micro switch will Let it only work at WOT.

THINK OF IT HAS A SAFTY SWITCH.

this is the way NOS wanted it to work with the shifter button.

also install the Gas pres sending unit switch, this to, is a safty switch.
making sure, if your fule presr falls off, it shuts the NOS off.

i have been running NOS from back in the 80s. and with all the right saftys in place, you will never have anything go wrong, Ever.
Piece of mined.

I have watched two different cars blow the intakes apart from fuel puddleing in the intake.

they need to brush up on how to set up, and use there NOS.

you can use a Button, I do, have for 25 + years.

it's set up to work only at WOT
and Fuel over 7psi (will not work at anything under 6psi)

about half of the KaBooms, are at the start up.
