Intake Air Temp/Manifold Air Temp Location

In a supercharged SBC I have been told by ATI Procharger and the gentleman who sold me the D-1SC kit that this sensor should be installed after the intercooler. I also have a friend who says that it should go in the stock location. I am confused as to who is correct. Please respond with your opinion and reason why. My thoughts are that it should go in my HSR Air plenum because that is the actual temperature of the air that will be mixing with the fuel. Thanks for your help.

Plenum.

You might also consider mounting it in the air inlet tube right before the throttle body to limit the heat soak it will see as the manifold heats up.

P.S. The advice you got from both guys is correct. If mounted in the plenum, it would be in the stock location and after the intercooler.
