Ready for some single digits is what I think. Should be fast as hell after you get her locked down, and perhaps "too much" fun

Re: all done! time for tunning

Clue me in.

I see your "valve cover breather" on pass side is routed to a catchcan with a KN breather. My breather on same passager side is the traditional(KN) type. Crankcase pressue is such that oil is leaking past the breather and drippimg on the headers. My buddy says I have signs of ring failure-blowby but I do not burn oil visually or quantity. I think the cover and breather is such that the rockers are moving oil into breather internals and it is leaking out do to its position. I see the newer GM(Proform) V covers have a flat surface on top that is parallel with ground so the breather sits perpandicular or straight up. Four sided so to speak. I may replace with that design..

What is purpose of your set up?

Looks good. Only things id try and change is getting that KnN out of the engine bay. WHat kind of hood do you have? Maybe do 4inch oval tube and put the filter down with the meth tank.

without baffles in the covers you will have some leaks..theres alot of oil splashing around in there. I took the baffles out of mine and started seeing oil leaking out the top.

Pt88 383 should fly! Looks great!

Does your down pipe go between the back header tube and the head? How big is your down pipe?

i mainly did it to keep the engine bay clean, i wasnt a big fan of the filters i had on the valve covers before or the chrome breathers, i think this looks better

im not too worried about the filter its just so that i dont suck in a lil cat on the streets, the filter is right infront of one of the hood scoops, i will be running the meth kit on the streets too so that will make up for the hot air. when i had the old setup i didnt see any gains by taking the filter off. I have a 2 inch ram air hood i would not be able to fit a pipe between the upper radiator support and hood since the hood rests on it.
