Carbed, just run whatever size fuel pump that is needed for the hp range you plan to run. that would likely be 450+125

Kit would just be a simple plate type kit jetted for 125 shot...many manufacturers have this available, just choose one.

Now I'd recommend an aftermarket ignition box...MSD or Mallory type that has a built in timing retard function for nitrous use. I'd tune the motor first, find what timing is best...say 36 deg. Then for the 125 shot I'd try 30-31 deg timing...so on the box, set it to pull 5-6 deg and use that as a baseline starting point. It may want more timing it may want less.

Now the nitrous system is going to be triggered most likely by a WOT switch on the throttlebody. There are other ways to do it but this is how I'd do it for simplicity sake. The timing retard function will be wired into the WOT switch so when you go WOT, the nitrous solenoids will be activated, and so will the timing retard function.

The nitrous master arm switch will provide the 12 volts for the system. This way, when nitrous is turned off, the ignition advance will remain 36 deg full timing for all motor performance, and when nitrous is on, you will be safe on timing.

For a mild street 383, I'd shoot for 10-10.5 to 1 comp with aluminum heads... 9-9.5 with iron and let it eat. Run a step colder spark plug, likely heat range 6 or 7 for that motor with a 125 shot.
