39x ls1 with twins but are they right ?

I'll post pics when I can I'm a trucker so buying everything I have a 6.0 block with a wiseco 3.90 inch stroke and custom pistons 9 to 1. Also the block has a main girdle and all arm stud kit. Im running ls3 procomp heads that are cnc'd and running manley valves. A custom grindle cam and a Holley hi ram 102 intake with a 102mm eBay throttle body. The cam is set up to run from 2600-7400 rpms 116 lobe sep and 651 lift which I plan on turning. I'm using obx up and for headers 1.8 yella terra roller rockers. The power goal is 1000 plus rear wheel horsepower. I'm looking at a set of on3 70 mm turbos Turbo Specs

I think these would be comparable to a s400-80 for a single any thought or input would be nice I maxed out my cash flow or I'd run the Borg or twin 67 percisions

Any input would be nice I know they're Chinese turbos but any turbo can crap out without proper oiling and the rustang owners love them

Re: 39x ls1 with twins but are they right ?

Turbos would work i know some guys have used on3 stuff with success. For a good expensive block build, i would rather see some better quality turbos but i have master powers which arent the best out there either...but abit better than ebays imo

Run the 1.0 housing. Probably wont be in good boost til around 4200-4500. My 400 with 330 cfm heads and .640 cam spins t70's by 3600. Sees some boost but not fully energized til 4500

Would have guessed in the 700's whp on 13 psi but had a bunch of problems. Valvetrain stability which didnt allow me to see full power. It will be up around 1000 next year after refresh hopefully

Re: 39x ls1 with twins but are they right ?

My car, not sure what the issue was. Thinking my pushrod/rocker geometry was off which killed the intake guides and springs...they didnt measure out right on pressure, about 30-40 lbs low using a basic pull lever type gauge. Once motor and heads are freshened up and ready to install on stand, I'll go over geometry again. I think I used too short of a pushrod.... Hard to say.
