Should be fun! just made a 1018 on my setup, very similar to yours. If you can get that LIL M block, you'll want it for safety factor lol

Re: Twins!
Well... Things took a turn for the awesome yesterday. picked up a set of CFE/BMF 18 degree heads. this thing should make some pretty killer power now...

Might need a lower profile elbow to clear the hood....

Xceldyne belt drive.

new camshaft from Lil John Motorsports Solutions

Should sound pretty badass through dual 4" downpipes dumped under the fenders

And some shiny bit's to match the new paint.

Re: Twins!
Was wondering what you were up to when the 383 went up for sale.
Look forward to seeing this setup being built. That elbow has to go though, not only is it too high, it is fugly. I know YOU can do better.

Re: Twins!
Very stout build.
What do you expect out of the combo w those turbos. Full trim? I know you got a full trim planned out for that monster.
I have an op to get a few of the exact same turbos. But hesitant to use em on my build.

Re: Twins!
Sounds good to me. I built my Ls motor to about equivalent'ish as yours.
Looking into getting a pair for mine.
What all are u gonna use to get that beast to hook and run as strait as possible.
Looks like we have similar builds.
I even got same hood. 4in

Re: Twins!
Moved the car into its new home which is much closer to me.

Had the cage certified to run 8.50's

Got the new rear gears installed and the rear end back together and ready to go under the car.

Front bumper and chin spoiler ready to go to paint.

Been working on a bunch of the little stuff in the car.
- Parachute handle
- ECM mount
- Window net
- Meth tank and pump
- CO2 bottle mount

Re: Twins!
Update.... wiring and more wiring...
everything is soldered and heatshrink, but butt connectors anywhere. may not be the nicest but there was a lot of wiring to run and tie together between the EFI, gauges, digital shift light, fuel pump controller, meth system, Holley EFI, Boost leash boost controller/pulse leash combo, transbrake, neutral safety etc... while still keeping the lights and whatnot fully functional. The Holley EFI has internal datalogging which has been tied into a input on the ECM so I can trigger it when driving. Both gauge panels were wired on weatherpack connectors so they can be easily removed.

Dash back in.

Boost controller fired up.

Powered up the car, set the inputs/outputs for the various functions, configured the parameters for igntion and uploaded a rough tune to fire the car once the time comes.

LS-3 coils mounted, along with the dipstick, vacuum manifold, various relay etc....
