Trans cooler w/ intercooled car
You guys with automatics. Where did you mount your trans cooler? I almost put it infront of the intercooler last night, but then realize it would probably heat the charge back up in the IC.
I'm tempted to put it out by the rear bumper but not sure if that would be a great idea on a long cruise.

My intercooler is between the crash bar between frame rails. I got about 10-11" from rad to intercooler.
I put the trans cooler on rad and have my oil cooler on intercooler lol

Re: Trans cooler w/ intercooled car
I had mine under the car beneath the battery area mounted horizontal with a high power ~8"electric fan-was there for about 17yrs,but a few years ago remounted it to RH battery tray area since I had relocated the battery to the back-this time vertical and at an angle so it can pull air from the opening ahead of the wheelwell. With a ~7x11"1.5"thick"stacked plate" radiator core, works great with my mild 350/2400 stall converter-I like to keep fluid~180-200*.It's plumbed in with -6 braided line.
